Certified Nursing Assistant
Hourly Rate: $22 - $24.50
Location: 1072 Havemeyer Avenue Bronx New York 10462
Position Summary:
As a CNA, you are an integral player in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities revolve around ensuring the well-being of your clients, helping them maintain their independence, and promoting a safe and supportive environment. These are for full time and per diem positions.

Education

Responsibilities:
Schedule /Shift
- Full-time-3-11: every other weekend
- Part-time 3-11: every other weekend
- Will accept CNA's that can work Every SAT or SUN
- Provides direct quality resident care as specified in the resident care profile
- Measuring and monitoring blood pressure and other vital signs
- Serving meals to residents and helping to feed them as needed
- Monitoring the conditions of residents during your shift, reporting any concerns to the broader nursing team
- Supporting residents with other activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
- Carries out routine nursing tasks as assigned by the Nurse
Education
- High School Graduate or GED preferred.
- Currently certified as a Nurse Aide in New York State.
- 6 months to 1-year prior experience in long term care preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Demonstrates a caring and compassionate attitude towards the elderly
- Computer skills required
- Compassion, patience, and respect for clients’ needs and preferences
- Ability to adapt to different home environments and work independently while following care plans
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing high-quality, personalized care
