Job Summary and Qualifications

-Accelerated Radiology Technologist-to-CT Technologist Training Program-

Our Radiology Technologist-to-CT Technologist Training Program is a 10-week training program sponsored entirely by HCA. Through this program, selected candidates with current Radiology Tech credentials will learn all the needed skills to advance to a certified CT Tech role through online didactic instruction as well as clinical experiences at the facility in which they are employed. This HCA-sponsored program includes all testing, fees, course and training materials. Current ARRT credential and licensure as a Radiology Tech in Texas are required for selection into the training program.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school or Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Valid ARRT (R) certification
  • Clear/active Texas Medical Board
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Radiology Technologist (preferred) or (case by case basis)
