Full job description

Position Summary/ Department Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team within our Acute Cardiac Care Unit. The Heart Center at Boston Children's Hospital stands at the forefront of pediatric cardiovascular care, renowned worldwide for pioneering treatments that have significantly enhanced survival rates for patients of all ages with congenital or acquired heart defects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing specialized care to acutely ill medical and surgical cardiac patients with complex congenital and/or acquired heart disease.
  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Working 36 hours per week with day and overnight rotations, including every third weekend.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Experience:
  • 2 years of inpatient nursing experience.
  • Experience in cardiac or telemetry is preferred.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred.
Licensure/ Certifications:
  • Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse RN
*This position is scheduled to start October 2026*

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
