About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL B Driver to support local operations based in Elk Grove Village, IL. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule Details

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM
  • Pay: $25.00/hr, OT after 40 hours, $1,400 - $1,500 estimated weekly pay

Job Details

  • Route Type: Local, Home Daily, No Weekends!
  • Freight / Load Type: Food, restaurant supplies
  • Equipment: Automatic & manual transmission box trucks
  • Handling: Heavy touch delivery of restaurant supplies and food items, loading and unloading of truck required. Warehouse training will be provided to help familiarize yourself with the products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate equipment on local routes
  • Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Perform required handling tasks
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
  • Meet the physical demands of the role

Minimum Requirements

  • License: Class B
  • Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
