Full job description

Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine/Family Medicine)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Care Physician to join our established and patient-focused practice in Ellicott City, Maryland. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide high-quality "bread and butter" primary care within a supportive environment that prioritizes work-life balance and excellent patient outcomes.


Schedule & Location

  • Location: Ellicott City, MD
  • Status: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
  • Office Hours:
    • Monday Thursday: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
    • Fridays: 7:30 AM 1:00 PM (Enjoy early weekend starts!)

Key Responsibilities

The physician will manage a varied panel of adult patients, focusing on comprehensive, continuous care:

  • Provide full-scope Primary Care services for adult patients ages 18 and older.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute/chronic outpatient conditions; conduct annual physicals, routine preventative care, and manage chronic diseases (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia).
  • Perform well-woman exams and provide associated women's health screening and counseling.
  • Maintain a manageable patient volume, seeing an average of 1822 patients per day.
  • Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation, completing all electronic health records (EHR) charts within 48 hours of the patient visit.
  • Collaborate with support staff and specialists to coordinate complete patient care.

Qualifications

  • Required: Medical Degree (MD or DO).
  • Required: Current, unrestricted medical license in the State of Maryland (or eligible to obtain).
  • Required: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Experience: Preferably at least 1 year of post-graduate experience in an outpatient primary care setting. Highly motivated new graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Attributes: Must demonstrate a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for patient care.
