A Harvard-affiliated teaching hospital in Boston is seeking a Nocturnist to join its academic hospital medicine program. The position offers approximately 12 shifts per month and a flexible scheduling model.

The Opportunity

  • Provide overnight inpatient medical care in a respected Boston teaching environment.

  • Work approximately 12 shifts per month with scheduling flexibility.

  • Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, trainees, advanced practice providers, nursing, and care management.

  • Participate in admissions, cross-coverage, clinical decision-making, and transitions of care.

  • Potential opportunities for teaching and involvement in academic or quality initiatives, depending on interest and program needs.

Candidate Qualifications

  • * MD or DO with completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.

  • * Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.

  • * Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure.

  • * Hospital medicine or nocturnist experience is preferred but qualified graduating residents are encouraged to apply.
