The Site Acquisition Manager is primarily responsible for coordinating the sale, purchase, and the entitlement process for Life.Church real estate. This role supports Life.Church real estate decisions from start to finish, through market analysis to entitlement coordination. The Site Acquisition Manager partners with leadership on high-impact negotiations and manages broker and city relationships to secure properties that support Life.Church's growth. This role also manages communications on both internal and external properties.
This role (operationally) supports the team's direction, initiatives, and ministry efforts to achieve outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.
What You'll Do
Skills Needed to Succeed
- Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and problem solve with innovation.
- Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible.
- Excellent attention to detail to manage several major and minor details on each project.
- Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and regulations.
- Clearly understand basic budgeting and fiscal management practices.
- Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
- Ability to readily employ high levels of emotional intelligence as situations arise.
- Extensive knowledge of real estate development best practices.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of related work experience.
- Real estate development experience preferred.
