HealthPro Talent is seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN to serve as Director of General OBGYN for a growing Women's Health program in Brooklyn, NY.

This is an OBGYN and maternal-fetal medicine practice of five OB generalists with on-site MFM support. We are seeking an experienced physician to lead the OB generalist team while remaining clinically active, including taking call. The practice offers comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care with prenatal and gynecologic ultrasound, supported by advanced practice providers and dedicated sonographers. All deliveries are performed at a single hospital.

This role combines clinical practice with leadership - establishing clinical standards, mentoring providers, and supporting quality initiatives. It's an ideal fit for an experienced physician, including those trained at leading academic institutions, ready to lead with genuine autonomy and a collaborative, well-staffed team behind them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the General OBGYN department

  • Establish clinical protocols, standards, and evidence-based practices, and improve workflows

  • Provide clinical guidance and chart review across the department

  • Mentor and develop physicians, nurses, and support staff, and lead educational initiatives

  • Serve as liaison to the supporting hospital and build relationships with community partners and referring physicians

  • Support care attuned to the cultural and religious considerations of the communities served

Qualifications

  • MD or DO, Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology

  • Approximately 10 years of clinical experience

  • Prior leadership experience preferred; above all, a demonstrated readiness and desire to lead

  • A collaborative, patient-centered physician with excellent leadership and communication skills

Schedule

  • Full-Time (40 hours per week)

  • Shared call rotation (approximately 1 in 6), with rotating weekends and one post-call day

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary of $500,000-$550,000
