Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a visionary Principal Engineer – Site Investigation and Remediation to lead and scale a brand-new civil infrastructure practice across the Bay Area, California. This is a high-visibility, entrepreneurial leadership role ideal for a proven rainmaker and expert in environmental remediation.
Based in the East Bay Area, this high-impact, entrepreneurial role offers up to $200,000 annually to build a dynamic team and secure municipal and industrial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Client Engagement: Build and sustain long-term client relationships across California. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients in the commercial, industrial, manufacturing, government, and energy sectors.
- Account Management: Drive market expansion and generate annual net revenue exceeding $750,000.
- Technical Leadership: Guide complex projects addressing groundwater, soil, soil vapor, and sediment contamination.
- Staff Mentorship: Recruit, train, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to support practice growth.
Qualifications
- Experience: 20+ years of progressively responsible experience in environmental consulting, Principal – Site Investigation and Remediation
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- PE, PG, or relevant professional registration is highly preferred.
- Skills: Proven success in client development, strategic growth, and project financial management. Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations and remediation methodologies.
Salary Range: $170,000 to $200,000+ annually DOE
