Full job description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Assembler to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform a variety of assembly and machine operation tasks, including mechanical assembly, sensor assembly, and operation of automated and semi-automated equipment such as laser marking and laser welding systems. The ideal candidate is committed to quality, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

- Perform mechanical fitting assembly operations, including wire cutting, stripping, fitting assembly, and torque application for standard and customized fitting configurations.
- Assemble sensor components and catalog sensor termination styles, including PJs and termination heads.
- Operate automatic and semi-automatic production equipment, including laser marking and laser welding machines.
- Read and follow manufacturing work instructions, process documentation, and basic engineering drawings.
- Conduct basic electrical testing, including insulation resistance, continuity, and polarity checks.
- Perform inspections using common measuring tools such as rulers and calipers.
- Follow all company policies, plant procedures, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of mathematics, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing instructions and basic engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass a visual acuity (vision) test.
- Ability to lift and handle up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to move between multiple work areas as production demands require.
