Full job description

Our client, a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services, is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be part of the operations supporting warehouse and shipping departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Laborer

Location: Eagan, MN

Position Type: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday; 7:00AM - 3:30PM

What's the Job?

  • Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information.
  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
  • Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
  • Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, and other equipment.
  • Sort cargo before loading and unloading.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years experience in manufacturing required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Team player and detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operations.
