Unit Highlights
- Two separate floors of PreOp & PACU
- PACU has 22 bays
- Primarily orthopedic cases (joint replacement and hand procedures), some vascular and occasional general cases
- Fast paced
- Low turnover and call frequency
- Closeknit unit; relies on each other closely
Available Role
- Part Time Days, 24 hours per week
Schedule
- 9a- 5:30p
- Requires occasional call (rare night shift, weekend and holiday shifts)
Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- 1 year of RN experience required; 2+ years of Critical Care or Perioperative RN experience strongly preferred.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS and PALS strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
