What You'll Be Doing:
Operate locomotives to transport materials within the plant.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on locomotives.
Ensure safe and efficient operation of rail equipment.
Coordinate with team members to manage rail movements.
Maintain accurate records of operations and maintenance activities.
What Are We Looking For:
Proficiency in operating locomotives and rail equipment.
Strong attention to safety and operational procedures.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
Conditions of Employment:
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment:
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
Physical Demands of the Job:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working on equipment.
Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel tools and equipment.
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Starting Pay $28.00 per hour DOE (Depending on experience)
