The Staff Pad is partnering with a highly respected Ambulatory Surgery Center in Cleveland, OH, specializing in general anesthesia dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive dental care. They are seeking an experienced, patient-centered Anesthesiologist for PRN coverage to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care to pediatric and special needs patients. This role offers a flexible schedule with no call, weekends, or holidays, allowing for meaningful anesthesia care without a full-time commitment.

Practice Info

  • Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive dental care
  • Care for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day, based on scheduled cases
  • Practice in a collaborative ASC environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients
  • Partner with dentists, nurses, dental assistants, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient care
  • Provide anesthesia coverage based on scheduled case volume and PRN needs
  • Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes in an ASC environment

Requirements

  • Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients
  • Active, appropriate state Anesthesiologist licensure
  • Current BLS and AHA PALS certification; PALS required within 6 months of hire
  • National Board Certification strongly preferred
  • Comfortable practicing in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical environments
