Pediatric Physical Therapist Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Pediatric Physical Therapist
  • Valid Colorado licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • One year of experience working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • One year of experience overseeing and training staff
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing education

Pediatric Physical Therapist Responsibilities

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to children (ages 0-18) with special needs
  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Encourage patients throughout their treatment to support their optimal functioning
