Trusted is seeking an experienced allied health professional for this exciting travel assignment. Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If clinician has questions, please email the AM.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years of experience as an RRT in Adult Critical Care. - 1 prior travel assignment completed. - Experience with Draeger V500, Draeger VN500, and Servo U ventilators required. - Required skills include Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex, aerosol set up mask, aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, metered dose inhaler, nebulizer, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation, assisting in high risk delivery, umbilical blood gases, and drawing/analyzing ABGs.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - NICU experience preferred. - ED experience preferred. - Preferred skills include bronchoscopy, bicarbonate, inhaled Flolan, ketamine, Mucomyst, nitric oxide (iNO), and theophylline. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred. - Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: - Neonate, infant, adult, and geriatric patient population. - Responsibilities include endotracheal tube suctioning, extubation, nasal airway placement and suctioning, oral airway placement, oropharyngeal suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, tracheostomy suctioning, and ABG interpretation.

Shift & Scheduling: - No on-call requirement. - Every other weekend required. - Holiday coverage expected.

Floating Requirements: - Float between Adult and NICU units, including adult and neonatal patient populations.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
