$700K salary plus incentives ! University Health - San Antonio

University Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our growing Women's Service Line in San Antonio, Texas. This is a full-time, employed opportunity with a primary focus on outpatient high-risk obstetric care, supporting two new community hospitals-Palo Alto Hospital and Retama Hospital-both scheduled to open in 2027. These state-of-the-art facilities are designed to expand access to high-quality care across the region while remaining closely integrated with the system's tertiary care center. This role will primarily involve outpatient management of high-risk pregnancies, with inpatient responsibilities and complex cases supported by University Health's main Labor & Delivery unit. The position offers a predictable weekday schedule (Monday-Friday, daytime hours) with no routine weekend or holiday clinical responsibilities. Call coverage is shared and primarily consultative, ensuring appropriate triage and transfer of higher-acuity patients to the main campus, resulting in relatively light call burden.

Position Highlights:

  • $700K guaranteed salary plus incentives - Total compensation potential up to $800K +

  • No weekends, no holidays, light call

  • Practice across new community hospital settings with strong tertiary support

  • Comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine services, including preconception counseling through delivery

  • Strong referral base of 80+ PCPs

  • Management of high-risk and medically complex obstetric patients (e.g., hypertensive disorders, diabetes, cardiac, renal, autoimmune, and other comorbidities)

  • Perform advanced procedures such as detailed ultrasound, amniocentesis, cervical cerclage, and management of multiple gestations

  • Access to advanced diagnostic and fetal evaluation technologies
