AMP Robotics is seeking a Project Manager to lead the onsite installation and deployment of complex recycling systems. Reporting to the Director, Operations Fulfillment, this hands-on role has direct accountability for installation scope, field schedule, budget, site readiness, contractor coordination, installation quality, commissioning readiness, customer communication, and project closeout.
The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent deployments while coordinating customers, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, equipment vendors, installation contractors, field teams, and commissioning resources. This role requires strong field leadership, installation planning, project controls, and the ability to resolve onsite issues affecting safety, cost, schedule, quality, or system startup.
What You’ll Do
- Lead multiple concurrent system deployments from installation planning and site readiness through commissioning, customer acceptance, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules covering engineering deliverables, procurement, equipment readiness, shipping, site preparation, installation and commissioning.
- Create installation execution plans addressing work sequencing, labor and equipment needs, site access, deliveries, unloading, staging, rigging and other field constraints.
- Define and verify customer and site-readiness requirements before equipment shipment and field mobilization.
- Coordinate customers, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, equipment vendors, installation contractors, electricians, controls technicians and commissioning resources.
- Lead project kickoffs, site-readiness reviews, installation coordination meetings, progress reviews and commissioning-readiness reviews.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, committed costs, contingency, scope changes and estimates at completion.
- Monitor installation progress, quality, safety compliance, contractor performance, and completion status - implement corrective or recovery plans when needed.
- Resolve field issues involving drawing conflicts, missing or damaged materials, installation discrepancies, site conditions and technical changes in coordination with the appropriate stakeholders.
- Manage mechanical and electrical completion and turnover to commissioning, including inspections, punch lists, documentation, training and final acceptance.
- Provide clear project reporting and maintain accurate records of status, risks, decisions, actions, changes, costs, field progress and lessons learned.

What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Eight or more years of experience managing industrial equipment installation, material- handling, automation, manufacturing, recycling, or capital-equipment deployment projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from installation planning through mobilization, field execution, commissioning, customer acceptance and closeout.
- Experience coordinating mechanical installation, electrical installation, controls integration, rigging, equipment vendors and commissioning resources.
- Experience managing installation contractors, field crews, suppliers and third-party execution partners.
- Strong knowledge of installation scheduling, cost forecasting, change control, contractor coordination, field reporting, risk management and project closeout.
- Ability to read and coordinate equipment layouts, installation drawings, mechanical and electrical drawings, bills of materials and contractor scopes.
- Experience identifying site-readiness requirements and resolving field constraints before they affect installation or startup.
- Ability to lead teams in active industrial environments and make timely decisions with incomplete or changing field information.
- Ability to travel regularly and support evening or weekend work when required by installation or commissioning activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience delivering integrated automated equipment, recycling systems, conveyorsystems, industrial controls, or material-processing equipment.
- Experience working in a project-based manufacturing, systems-integration, EPC, orindustrial-technology environment.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
The physical demands described below are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this position. Project sites may not be climate controlled and may include noise, dust, moving equipment, uneven surfaces, elevated work areas, and other typical industrial hazards. While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, communicate effectively, and occasionally lift or move up to 45 pounds. Appropriate personal protective equipment and compliance with all site-safety requirements are mandatory.
Work Location
This role will require work at AMP facilities and customer project sites.
Travel Requirements
Up to 50% travel is expected, including occasional evening, weekend, and international travel based on project requirements.

Salary & Compensation Information: $132,000 - $145,000 annually
Equity Grant: The candidate selected for this role will be recommended for a stock option grant commensurate with the position and the candidate’s qualifications.
