Full job description

Our client, an industry leader in data infrastructure, is seeking a Assembly technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be supporting the assembly and installation of network infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly technician

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Range: $24

Shift: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Assemble main distribution frames according to technical specifications and engineering drawings
  • Install and terminate copper and fiber optic cables on distribution blocks
  • Mount and secure distribution blocks, cable management systems, and protective devices
  • Perform continuity testing and basic troubleshooting of assembled frames
  • Maintain accurate assembly documentation and quality control records

What's Needed?

  • Background in working with Cat 6, fiber connections, low-voltage cabling, or computer hardware assembly
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and telecommunications equipment
