Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks and inspections on products and manufacturing machines according to checklists or inspection plans provided
- Take decisions on the release or block of suspect or defective parts or products
- Contribute to technical optimization of quality aspects in production or assembly processes assigned
- Handle complaints and related cost and initiate corrective actions in cooperation with local operational quality management.
- Support the preparation and conduction process of internal and external audits
- Document inspection and audit results and findings in the respective IT systems
- Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Your Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English
- Advanced computer knowledge and MS office skills
- Basic knowledge of statistic and calculations preferred
- Good visual acuity
- Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
Preferred:
- College or University degree in a technical discipline a plus
- Multiple years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with IT and/or SAP systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
