Overview

 

Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. seeks an Associate in New York, NY to serve as a market maker by providing liquidity to clients in Credit Derivatives while building a client franchise to expand market share. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or related field, or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience executing complex credit derivatives transactions, including Credit Default Swaps (CDS) and Credit Default Swap Index (CDX); providing liquidity and pricing to institutional clients using real- time market data, quantitative pricing techniques including hazard-rate models, survival probability curves, and recovery assumptions, and risk analytics; analyzing market conditions, supply-demand dynamics, and trading flows to generate trade ideas and support client transactions; monitoring portfolio risk exposures and P&L drivers across multiple risk types, including spread risk, curve risk, jump risk, and index-to-constituent risk; conducting time-series analysis of credit spreads and index levels to identify trading opportunities and market regimes, leveraging Python and Merton pricing model; facilitating trade execution and identifying sources of liquidity to ensure efficient order fulfillment, minimize market impact, and optimize pricing; delivering market intelligence, pricing insights, and trade execution services to institutional clients; and conducting credit research and fundamental analysis on corporate issuers by evaluating financial statements, capital structures, industry conditions, and event-driven credit developments to assess default risk and determine relative value. Salary range: $150,000.00 – $170,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
