Shift: Days (Ideally 2 days a week)

Baystate Health is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse to join our General Pediatric team at 50 Wason Ave in Springfield, Massachusetts. Our team provides compassionate, family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents, partnering with patients and their families to promote health, wellness, and positive outcomes across a wide range of pediatric needs.
The Registered Nurse role offers the opportunity to develop and strengthen specialized pediatric nursing expertise while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. The RN will collaborate with pediatricians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide safe, comprehensive, and coordinated care in a supportive clinical environment.
The Registered Nurse Will:
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide expected standards of care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational spiritual, safety, and age-appropriate considerations of patients.
- Assumes responsibility for the patient's plan of care and is held accountable for decisions specific to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.
- Provides care directly to patients and in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
- Maintains a current level of knowledge and skill with technical procedures as defined by the nursing specialty organization, complies with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies, and is currently licensed in the state of Massachusetts as a registered nurse.

Required Skills
- Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
- Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
