Location: Oberlin, OH

Hours: Monday–Friday | 2:30 pm- 11:00 pm

What You'll Do

As a CNC Operator, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC mills and grinders to produce precision parts

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production documentation

• Change fixtures, tooling, and tooling offsets to ensure accurate machine setup

• Edit CNC programs and adjust G & M Codes, speeds, and feeds

• Work with X, Y, and Z axis, as well as 4th- and 5th-axis machining

• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment

• Troubleshoot machining issues and work with production and engineering teams

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while meeting quality and production goals

• Additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1+ year of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery

• Knowledge of X, Y, and Z axes and an understanding of 4th- and 5th-axis CNC machining

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings

• Knowledge of G & M Codes and CNC program editing

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
