Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to support our patient-centered imaging services within our integrated health system. This role performs and oversees high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate imaging to support clinical decision-making. The Lead Sonographer mentors and guides staff, optimizes imaging protocols, and promotes a safe, compassionate patient experience. Responsibilities include coordinating workflow, collaborating with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, maintaining equipment quality, and supporting compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
