Full job description

This 36-week contract positions a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support middle school students in Willimantic, Connecticut. The role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy, and collaborating with a school-based support team. Compensation is up to $70 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support middle school students as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Collaborate with a school-based support team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students on caseload

  • Support an SLP-conducive caseload with a focus on student progress and needs

  • Engage in team meetings, documentation, and assessments to ensure student success

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut

  • ClP or equivalent certification as required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in school-based settings

  • Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Must pass background check and compliance screening

  • Ability to support a middle school caseload effectively
