Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound imaging and team leadership across its Georgia facilities. In this role, you will perform complex exams, ensure high-quality images, and support accurate diagnoses for diverse patient populations. You will mentor and precept sonographers, coordinate workflow, and uphold safety, infection control, and accreditation standards. Working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, you’ll partner closely with radiologists, nurses, and providers, while accessing robust clinical resources, continuing education, and growth opportunities within a large, mission-driven health system.
