Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in the autonomous vehicle industry, is seeking a Test Engineer, Electrical Integration Lab to join their team. As a Test Engineer, Electrical Integration Lab, you will be part of the Validation Department supporting the Electrical Systems team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Test Engineer, Electrical Integration Lab

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $76/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Execute manual and automated structured test plans on dynamometer systems to validate software releases across various platforms.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on electrical test assets to support software release cycles.
  • Monitor, record, and analyze test data to identify anomalies, failures, and trends for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers to reproduce issues, determine root causes, and verify fixes.
  • Document test procedures, results, and defects with precision and clarity, maintaining thorough records for compliance and review.

What's Needed?

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years’ work experience in a test, validation, or integration engineering role.
  • Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical integration and testing of systems and subsystems.
  • Experience with HIL systems like dSPACE, CANoe, Labview (or similar).
  • Experience in R&D electronics environment or electrical testing lab.
