Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2620 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 4 years experience required; open to reviewing candidates with 2+ years of experience. Teaching hospital experience is required.

Required Credentials: Any hit on your license must be disclosed. Hits will be sent to UVA leadership for approval prior to proceeding.

Special Requests: Unable to approve RTO around Christmas. Travelers are not eligible to return after reaching 365 total assignment days, regardless of time away.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Respiratory therapy department service teams include Surgical/Neuro, Heart and Vascular, Medical, and Unit Rotation.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

Floating Requirements: Will float between sections on occasion.

6 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
