Retail Security Officer

Location: White Plains, NY
Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

Are you dependable, professional, and highly observant? We are seeking Retail Security Officers to join our team at a busy, high-traffic retail environment in White Plains, NY.

This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in providing a visible security presence, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong and professional security presence throughout the property to help deter theft and other security concerns
• Conduct routine foot patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, and parking areas
• Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly, professionally, and in accordance with established procedures
• Provide professional customer service and assistance to customers, employees, and visitors
• Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor
• Communicate and coordinate with management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel when necessary
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and other required documentation
• Maintain awareness of your surroundings and proactively identify potential security concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned by site management

Minimum Qualifications

• MUST be willing and able to travel to White Plains, NY
• Valid New York State Security Guard License required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• MUST be comfortable standing and walking for the duration of the shift
• Ability to remain alert and attentive in a busy retail environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow post orders, policies, and procedures
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Prior retail, loss prevention, or mall security experience is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

This is an active security position that requires officers to be on their feet for extended periods of time.

Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Conduct routine foot patrols
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
