We are looking for an Executive Business Partner to support our four Senior Directors on the Policy Leadership team. This vital new role will manage scheduling and coordinate events, org wide initiatives, and meetings for the broader team. This role is for you if you enjoy working in an energetic environment, managing multiple competing priorities, and streamlining hectic days. The role requires someone who is incredibly organized, attentive to detail, and a true team-player able to build strong relationships. This role is expected to be based in the Washington, DC Lyft office on a hybrid schedule. 

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively and strategically manage complex calendars and meeting coordination, travel, and other administrative tasks; 
  • Work closely with the Chief of Staff (CoS) to keep them informed of agendas, presentations, and decisions needed prior to meetings
  • Prepare presentation materials and briefs for team meetings in partnership with CoS
  • Project-manage initiatives and work streams; keeping track of progress, identifying areas for efficiencies, and ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Manage clear communication between stakeholders, identify gaps in visibility and propose solutions
  • Independently and proactively provide solutions to issues and escalate if necessary
  • Stay abreast of the leaders’ priorities and major projects, serving as a resource for other stakeholders when needed 
  • Help plan offsites and team events
  • Develop peer relationships with other Executive Business Partners in the org 
  • Work in collaboration with the other Policy EPB, establishing a relationship of mutual support
  • Budget and expense support
  • Partner with Office Operations and IT teams to ensure teams have appropriate resources and optimal set-up for in-person, remote, and hybrid meetings

Experience:

  • 3+ years experience as an Executive Assistant or the equivalent in a faced-paced environment 
  • Ability to anticipate and proactively manage responsibilities and tasks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; demonstrated experience building strong partnerships and managing clear communications across stakeholders
  • High EQ and ability to build solid relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Incredibly detail-oriented with a creative working style
  • Great project management chops
  • “Roll up your sleeves” mentality; can take even the smallest project and run with it to successful completion

The expected base pay range for this position in the Washington D.C. area is $66,240 - $82,800, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
