Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arkansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

Unit Details: Total care assignments. Surgical services include colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, and orthopedic patients; medical conditions include diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney, and GI conditions. No telemetry; occasional strip reading with remote tele monitoring. Titration of drips is not required. Charge nurse takes an assignment. Respiratory is available to assist; floor care includes nasal cannula support. EMR is transitioning to Epic in 11/2026.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No holiday requirement. No call or standby requirement.

Floating Requirements: Float pool between Med/Onc, 2 surgical units, and 2 medical units. May float to any Med/Surg pod based on need areas.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
