Lead Sonographer

Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and team leadership across our patient-centered care settings. In this role, you will perform high-quality vascular, abdominal, obstetric, and other ultrasound exams, verify orders, and communicate findings to radiologists and providers. You will oversee workflow, mentor technologists and students, support protocol development and quality improvement, and ensure safe equipment use and regulatory compliance. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll help deliver compassionate, efficient imaging care to diverse patient populations.
